A baseline functional evaluation is performed shortly after admission, followed by a follow-up assessment at least one month later, according to standard protocol at the Cure Rehab rehabilitation centre. During hospitalisation, standard rehabilitation therapy consisted of 1 hour of physical therapy and 1 hour of occupational therapy, with sessions held 6 days a week. The goal of rehabilitation therapy for patients with neurological deficits was to improve their ability to self-manage. The clinical therapy team created the rehabilitation protocol in Cure Rehab
Range-of-motion exercises, progressive resistive exercise, balance training, endurance training, and gait training were all part of the physical therapy programme. Cognitive capacity enhancement, upper extremity proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, and activities of daily living (ADL) training were prioritised in a Cure Rehab Physicaltherapy.
